Renowned Comedian Madan Krishna Shrestha Expresses Regret for Not Learning to Dance

Kathmandu. Renowned comedian and singer Madan Krishna Shrestha has expressed regret for not learning to dance. Comedian Shrestha, who appeared as a guest on the children's dance reality show ‘Nation's Got Talent: Rashtrako Pratibha’ Season 2, regretted not learning to dance.

While giving feedback after Siraha's Annie Chaudhary performed a lively dance in the Top 9 round of the competition, he said, ‘I was speechless watching the dance. I was completely mesmerized. Do I have Parkinson's? While watching the dance, I felt like, even with the company of Mithila ji (actress Mithila Sharma), how did I not learn to dance? If I knew how to dance, I wouldn't have Parkinson's. My body would be very flexible. Those who dance never get Parkinson's.’ Mithila is a regular senior judge on the dance reality show.

When 7-year-old Aaron Rijal from Kathmandu presented his dance on the show, Madan Krishna stated that he found all contestants to be excellent. After watching the dance of 7-year-old Pasang Lhamu Sherpa from Solukhumbu, he revealed that he finds Mithila Sharma's dance the best. He said, ‘In Mithila ji's performance, the face itself speaks the lyrics of the song. The eyes are expressive. Some people dance with a sullen face, but I like Mithila ji's presentation where she smiles according to the words.’

During the Top 9 round of ‘Nation's Got Talent: Rashtrako Pratibha’ Season 2, when Doty's Udipti Raut danced to a horror theme, fellow judge actress Nita Dhungana was startled. When Udipti suddenly approached her hot seat and said 'Hey,' Nita was badly frightened. Startled, Nita exclaimed 'Aabui' and grabbed Madan Krishna. Seeing herself startled, she laughed. In her feedback, Nita said, ‘Udipti really scared the life out of me today. I knew something was happening in front of me, but I didn't expect this. I was in my own zone. When Udipti, with that colorful face, came forward grinning, I truly lost my composure. My heart is still pounding.’

Actresses Mithila Sharma and Nita Dhungana, along with Chhamchhami dance competition winner, are the judges for the competition. ‘Nation's Got Talent’ is broadcast every Sunday at 6 PM on Space Fourk Television and at 7 PM on the OSR Reality YouTube channel. The show has entered the Top 5 stage.
