Salman Khan Responds to Trolling Over 'Battle of Galwan' Teaser Look

Mumbai. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has responded to the trolling over his look seen in the teaser of his much-anticipated war movie 'Battle of Galwan'. After some social media users criticized one of Salman's scenes as having a 'romantic expression,' he clarified the reality with a joke.

According to Salman, that scene is not romance but a symbol of the serious contemplation of a responsible Colonel and his trust in his soldiers. Recently, during an Indian Street Premier League match, Salman reiterated the same scene from the teaser, saying, 'Someone might find this look romantic now, but I am a Colonel in the film. This is the look of a Colonel who boosts the morale of his team and soldiers.'

He joked that he could give such looks if he wanted, but they would not imply romance. He also clarified that such criticism directed at him has no effect.

In this film, based on the actual military conflict that took place in the Galwan Valley in 2020, Salman Khan is seen in the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film features actress Chitrangda Singh opposite Salman, and many new faces have also been given opportunities.

The film's teaser was released on Salman's birthday on December 27, and the first song, 'Matrubhumi,' was released on January 24.

'Battle of Galwan,' which narrates a story of patriotism and valor, is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 17, 2026.
