Nepal Cricket Matches See Second Highest Ticket Sales After India for ICC T20 World Cup 2026

Kathmandu. Ticket sales for the Nepali cricket team's matches in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 have ranked second after India. According to a report by Indian media outlet Times of India, ticket sales for Nepal's matches are second only to India's.

All four matches Nepal will play in the tournament will be held at Mumbai's prestigious Wankhede Stadium. It is reported that there is high demand for tickets for these matches. Apart from matches involving India, the highest number of tickets sold have been for Nepal's games.

"It is a big deal in itself that ticket sales for Nepal's matches are second only to India. A large number of Nepali supporters will be seen at the Wankhede Stadium during the tournament," a source stated.

Wankhede Stadium will be like a 'home ground' for Nepal in this tournament. Nepal is scheduled to play against England on February 8, Italy on February 12, West Indies on February 15, and Scotland on February 17.

This clearly indicates that among the supporters who come to India for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, Nepali supporters will form the largest traveling fan group.
