Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Declares No Electoral Alliances for Upcoming Polls

Kathmandu. The Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, has clarified that the party will not form any electoral alliance or understanding with any political party in the upcoming elections.

While busy in his constituency Jhapa during the election campaign, Chairman Lingden stated that RPP's only alliance is with the public and that the party will enter the electoral arena alone. 

Amidst recent discussions in Jhapa about a possible electoral understanding between RPP and some parties including CPN (UML), he clearly rejected those rumors. He said, 'Our policy has been clear from the beginning. We will contest the election alone, allied with the people.'

Chairman Lingden mentioned that RPP has adopted a policy of moving forward by keeping the public's trust at the center, informing that candidates have been fielded in all 165 constituencies across the country, except for places where candidacies had to be canceled or withdrawn due to some technical reasons.
