Home Minister Assures State Will Take Responsibility for Actions Done with Good Intent

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has stated that the state will bear the responsibility for work carried out with good intentions. Speaking at a ceremony organized in Halchowk on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary and Silver Jubilee of the Armed Police Force on Friday, Home Minister Aryal said, “The state will bear the responsibility for work done with good intent.”

He mentioned that the Ministry of Home Affairs is working to find solutions to the problems faced by the Armed Police Force. Aryal said, “We are being constructive, supportive, and helpful in all aspects of security carried out by the Armed Police, including border security, acting as an enabler rather than an obstacle.”

He stated that the ministry's focus is on expanding new Border Out Posts (BOPs) and modernizing existing BOPs for border security. Mentioning that nation-building is not possible through the efforts of a single agency, he said, “The strength of a security agency lies not only in its weaponry but also in its moral integrity and intellect.”

Minister Aryal expressed his confidence that the Armed Police Force would further streamline border security by strengthening relationships with residents near the border crossings.
