Nepali Congress Central Working Committee Finalizes Five Key Decisions, Names Gagan Thapa as PM Candidate

Kathmandu. The Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress has made five key decisions. Party spokesperson Devraj Chalise informed that the meeting held on Friday at the party's central office in Sanepa included the decision to nominate party President Gagan Thapa as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the election scheduled for Falgun 21.

The five decisions from the meeting are as follows:

(1) The working committee unanimously endorses the proposal made by Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma, and supported by Vice President Pushpa Bhusal, to nominate Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa as the party's future Prime Ministerial candidate for the House of Representatives election to be held on 2082 Falgun 21.

(2) To form a Central Publicity Committee for the House of Representatives election scheduled for 2082 Falgun 21, to be chaired by the party spokesperson, Devraj Chalise.

(3) To form a Central Office Building Reconstruction Committee for the reconstruction of the Nepali Congress Central Office building, to be chaired by the party's former treasurer, Umesh Shrestha.

(4) To assign responsibility to Vice President Pushpa Bhusal for necessary coordination on behalf of the party for the National Assembly member election to be held on 2082 Magh 11.

(5) To form the Nepali Congress Central Working Performance Committee.
