Nepali Film 'Roll No. 1' Set for Release on Jestha 15, 2083

The film 'Roll No. 1' is scheduled for release on Jestha 15, 2083, coinciding with the New Year. The production unit announced the release date on Friday, taking advantage of the Saraswati Puja (Basanta Panchami) occasion.

Produced by Binod Paudel, the film is presented by Seven Seas Cinema. It will be released simultaneously in Nepal and internationally.

Directed by Jon Yonjan, the film was shot in various scenic and rural areas of the Himalayan district of Myagdi. The first look poster of the film, which is based on 'Child Psychology,' featured a boy raising his hand in a classroom to indicate his presence, a scene that drew significant attention.

Written by Mahesh Dawadi, the film stars Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi, and Sirjana Adhikari in the lead roles. The child actors include Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Sanyam Katuwal, and Sijal Shrestha.

Binod Paudel and Gunjan Giri are the producers, with Ramesh Chaulagain serving as the executive producer. The film features cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha, music by Prashant Shivakoti, chief AD by Firod Khadka, production design by Kala Sangraula, and Manoj Joshi as Production Head.

Madan Ghimire is the film's editor. Rich Entertainment and JM Cinema will distribute the film.
