Rs 94 billion deposit in Social Security Fund

Kathmandu, Nov 2: A total amount of Rs 94 billion 90 million1 and 179 thousand has been deposited in the Social Security Fund (SSF) so far. The SSF has also paid an amount equivalent to Rs 17 billion 293 million and 51 thousand to the contributors. A total of 2 million 592 thousand and 141 individuals have been included as registered contributors in the fund. There are 22,125 registered employers in the fund. SSF has stated that it is also taking necessary steps to gradually register employers. The SSF has a claim amount of Rs 2 billion 425 million and 81 thousand for medical treatment, health and maternity. Similarly, the accident and disability insurance claim amount is Rs 223 million and 163 thousand, the dependent family insurance claim amount is Rs 283 million and 597 thousand, and the retirement claim amount is Rs 14 billion 361 million 208 thousand, it is stated.
