Nine People Arrested in Pokhara Hotel for Gambling
Police in Kaski district have arrested nine people for playing cards and gambling. The arrest took place on Saturday afternoon at a hotel in Pokhara. The individuals were caught in the act of playing a gambling game with cards.

The hotel involved is named "Myagdi" and is located in Hemja Sundaripuri Chowk, within Pokhara Metropolitan City-25. The hotel is operated by a 33-year-old man named Dhiren Purja, who is a resident of Magdi Malika Rural Municipality-5. Mr. Purja was among those arrested during the police operation.
Cash and Gambling Materials Seized
The arrest was a joint operation conducted by officers from the Kaski District Police Office and the Ward Police Office, Bagar. Along with arresting the nine individuals, the police also confiscated evidence from the scene. The seized items include cash totaling eighty-five thousand seven hundred and ninety rupees and four decks of playing cards used for the illegal game.
