Suspect Arrested in Kathmandu for Theft of Far-Western University Dean's Vehicle

Kathmandu. Police have arrested one suspect involved in the theft of the Far-Western University Dean's vehicle from Kathmandu. The arrested individual is 23-year-old Nirajan Kunwar, a resident of Himalitole, Ward No.-13, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Kailali.

A team from the Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested him from Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Kunwar, arrested from Kathmandu, has been taken to Dhangadhi for investigation, Inspector Kailash Bist of the District Police Office, Kailali told Ratopati.

Police investigation concludes that Kunwar and his group openly stole the vehicle from the residence of Dr. Homnath Joshi, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Far-Western University, on Bhadra 25, 2082. The Scorpio, with registration number Ba.2 Jha 2859, was stolen while parked at the Dean's residence in Hasanpur, Dhangadhi-5.

The suspect had an arrest warrant issued against him by the Kailali District Court on Asar 30 for the offense of theft and document forgery.
