Gold Price Increases by Rs 3,400 per Tola in Kathmandu
The price of gold has sharply risen in Kathmandu. On Sunday, the price of hallmarked gold saw a significant jump compared to the previous trading day.
Sharp Rise in Gold Value
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 3,400 per tola on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, compared to Friday. The association reported that hallmarked gold was priced at Rs 196,500 per tola on Sunday, up from Rs 193,100 per tola on Friday.
Silver Prices Also Climb
Similarly, the price of silver also increased. On Friday, silver was priced at Rs 2,235 per tola, but on Sunday, it rose to Rs 2,250 per tola. The upward trend in precious metal prices continues to impact traders and consumers in the market.
