Construction Entrepreneur Attacked in Hetauda

Hetauda. Construction entrepreneur Ghimire has been attacked in Hetauda, Makwanpur.

According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, Ghimire, a resident of Hetauda-2, was attacked near T-Time Cafe located in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-5 around 11 PM last night.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson for the District Police Office, Makwanpur, Madhav Kafle, Ghimire sustained injuries on various parts of his body, including his face, from the attack. Preliminary investigation revealed that a person named Raju Ghimire assaulted him with a sharp weapon during a personal dispute, the police said.

After the incident, the accused Raju Ghimire fled towards Kathmandu. Police said that a search is underway for him.

According to the police, both individuals were consuming alcohol together before the incident. The preliminary conclusion is that the attack may have occurred as the dispute escalated during that time. Police said that further investigation is underway regarding the cause of the incident and other aspects.

The family of the injured is preparing to file a complaint, and legal proceedings will be initiated once the complaint is received, said spokesperson Kafle.

Society Ghimire, injured by the sharp weapon attack, is undergoing treatment in the ICU of Makwanpur Cooperative Hospital. Police said his health condition is improving.

It is suspected that some other individuals, including Raju Ghimire, may also be involved in the incident. Police said that their identification and search are ongoing.
