Power outage in parts of Kathmandu for three days starting Thursday

Kathmandu, February 26 — The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced that power supply will be disrupted in certain areas of Kathmandu for three days starting Thursday.
The disruption is due to maintenance work at the Mulpani 132 kV substation, where the Bhaktapur-Chapali 132 kV transmission line will undergo the "Loop in Loop out" process.
The work will begin Thursday morning at 6 AM and continue until Saturday evening.
The affected areas include several substations and distribution centers, such as Chapali, Lainchaur, Chabahil, Balaju, Old Chabahil, and Maharajgunj 11 kV switching substations, which may experience power outages.
The NEA has issued this notice to inform the public and minimize inconvenience during this maintenance period.
