Gas entrepreneurs suspend protests for 15 days

Kathmandu, February 12 — A consensus has been reached between gas entrepreneurs and the government.

A discussion was held on Thursday at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies.

During the meeting, it was agreed that all of the entrepreneurs' demands would be met within 15 days.

As a result, the planned protests will be suspended for 15 days, according to the minister's secretariat.

The meeting involved ministers, officials from the Nepal Oil Corporation, employees, and representatives from the Nepal LPG Industry Association.

The secretariat confirmed that positive discussions took place regarding the association's demands.

The secretariat stated, "The Nepal Oil Corporation took the association’s demands positively and recognized the need for more time to resolve them. Consequently, all planned protest programs have been suspended for 15 days starting today."
