PM and ministers pay tribute to martyrs at Shahid Gate (photos)

Kathmandu, January 29 — On Martyrs' Day, the Prime Minister and other ministers paid tribute at the Shahid Gate (literal translation: Martyrs' Gate).

On Wednesday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, along with Deputy Prime Ministers Prakash Man Singh, Bishnu Paudel, and other ministers, visited Shahid Gate to offer their respects and honor the martyrs.

The government observes Martyrs' Day on Magh 16 of the Nepali calendar to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the establishment and restoration of democracy, as well as those who gave their lives in various struggles throughout history.
