MP Kathayat demands CCTV footage from Agricultural Committee's Pokhara visit

Kathmandu, January 26 — Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Binita Kathayat has demanded the Agriculture, Cooperative And Natural Resources Committee of Parliament to provide CCTV footage and expenditure details of their stay at a hotel during a recent visit to Pokhara.

Khatayat, who represents Jumla, submitted a request to the committee on Sunday asking for the information.

The MP pointed out that the committee discussed a six-day monitoring trip from Nepalgunj to Pokhara, conducted between 8th and 13th of January.

Kathayat specifically requested CCTV footage from Hotel Open House in Pokhara, showing the time between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM on January 13th, along with a breakdown of the expenses incurred that day.

It is worth mentioning that MP Khatayat had accused Congress and UML MPs of verbally harassing her while intoxicated during the committee members' hotel stay in Pokhara, where they were attending a program.
