Injured in Taplejung clash airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment
Biratnagar, January 26 — Several people injured in a clash between the 'No Cable Car Group' and the police in the Pathibhara area of Phungling Municipality-11, Taplejung, have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
The injured were transported by a Nepal Army helicopter from Biratnagar earlier today.
According to reports, 12 police officers, including Inspector Rohit Sharma, 9 Armed Police Force (APF) personnel, and 4 members of the protest group were injured in the clash.
Some of the injured are receiving treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar, while others have been transferred to Kathmandu for further medical care.
