UML leaders in Achham back Bhim Rawal's campaign
Kathmandu, January 21 — Former Vice Chairman of CPN (UML), Dr. Bhim Rawal's "Motherland Awakening Campaign" has received support from 1,086 leaders and cadres of UML Achham.
According to Rawal's aides, the supporters include 7 members from the UML Provincial Committee and departmental members, 2 central department members, 5 district committee secretariat members, along with 17 district committee members, 3 former district committee members, 13 district advisory members, and 12 members from municipal committees.
Additionally, 8 leaders and office-bearers from mass organizations, 22 ward committee chairs and office-bearers, and 637 members from the district have pledged support for Rawal.
A total of 1,086 supporters, including 5 from other parties, have joined Rawal’s campaign.
On December 25, UML had expelled Rawal from the party, stating that he was no longer a member of the party.
