Assailant of advocate Tripathi to be brought to book: HM Lekhak

Kathmandu, January 16 — Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak expressed sorrow over the assault on senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi and assured that action would be taken against those involved.

Speaking to the media after a meeting at party president Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence on Thursday, Lekhak stated, "This is a democratic country, where individuals have the right to conduct their business. Any disruption or unlawful action will result in punishment for those responsible."

He emphasized that such behavior would be addressed, regardless of the political affiliation of the perpetrators.
