One killed in tiger attack in Makwanpur

Makwanpur, December 30 — A person has died following a tiger attack in Makwanpur's Manahari area.

On Sunday, 72-year-old Kanchimaya Rumba, residing near the ward office in Basantpur, Manahari Municipality-5, was attacked by a tiger.

After going to the fields near her home to cut grass, she did not return home by late evening.

Her relatives started searching for her, and they found her body about 500 meters east of her home.

The body was discovered with multiple injuries, and the district police office in Makwanpur confirmed that she was killed in the tiger attack.
