Chhabilal's statement: TV station idea was GB and Rabi's, I joined later
Kathmandu, December 22 — In the ongoing fraud case related to Suryadarshan Cooperative in Pokhara, former DIG and investor in Gorkha Media, Chhabilal Joshi, has made a statement revealing that he got involved in the venture after GB Rai and Rabi Lamichhane proposed opening a television station.
According to the charge sheet filed at the Kaski District Court, Joshi stated that he and GB initially held 50/50 percent ownership, but as Lamichhane was abroad at the time, he later joined with a 15% share.
Joshi further clarified that he eventually separated from the venture, handing over all responsibilities to GB Rai, and claimed to have no knowledge of any financial matters concerning the cooperative thereafter.
