UML to convene Secretariat and Central Committee meetings
Kathmandu, December 19 — The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) will convene both the Secretariat and Central Committee meetings to implement the programs decided during the national workshop held on December 14 and 15.
According to UML leaders, the Secretariat meeting is scheduled for December 25, and the Central Committee meetings will be held on January 4 and 5.
However, the official announcement of these dates is yet to be made, as stated by the party's spokesperson, Rajendra Gautam.
"First, the Secretariat meeting will be held, followed by the Central Committee meeting, but the dates for both meetings are yet to be announced," said Gautam.
The UML has been declaring its commitment to making the party a decisive national force in the upcoming elections.
Additionally, the party has pledged to launch a three-month, ward-centered program from mid-January to mid-March.
It is understood that the Central Committee meeting will also decide on the modality of this three-month program.
