NPL: Kathmandu Gurkhas defeat Karnali Yaks by 3 wickets

Kirtipur, December 4 — Kathmandu Gurkhas defeats Karnali Yaks by 3 wickets in a thrilling encounter at Kirtipur Stadium today.

Karnali Yaks posted a competitive total of 149 at the loss of five wickets. Shikhar Dhawan remained not out on 72 off 51 balls, including 4 fours and 5 sixes.

Chadwick Walton contributed with 21 runs off 15 balls..

Kathmandu Gurkhas reached the target with 3 wickets to spare, posting 153 at the loss of 7 wickets in 19.3 overs.

Sumit Maharjan top-scored for the Gurkhas with an unbeaten 40 off 37 balls, supported by Karan KC, who smashed 28 off 10 balls.

Gerhard Erasmus also contributed with 38 runs.
