Lamichhane's statement concludes for today; set to continue on Sunday

Kathmandu, November 29 — Former Home Minister and President of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has completed today's statement at the District Attorney's Office in Kathmandu today.

Lamichhane’s statement was taken starting this morning at the District Attorney’s Office in Kathmandu.

The statement recording process will continue on Sunday. Lamichhane was arrested in connection with an investigation into cooperative fraud and organized crime, under the authorization of the Kaski District Court.

The arrest warrant against Lamichhane was issued on November 17 in relation to irregularities in the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative in Kalimati.

He was brought to Kathmandu on Thursday evening.
