AQI deteriorates in Kathmandu Valley (photos)

Kathmandu, November 28 — The air quality in the Kathmandu Valley has worsened, with certain areas registering highly unhealthy levels.

According to IQAir, a Swiss air quality monitoring company, the air quality in Patan's Tanga Chowk, Lalitpur, reached an alarming level of 214 at 10:15 AM today, categorizing it as "very unhealthy."

Similarly, the air quality monitoring equipment at the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu indicates that the valley's air is currently in an unhealthy range. The Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded by the embassy stands at 177, signaling a significant health concern for residents.
