Four killed in separate road accidents across Nepal

Kathmandu, November 27 —  Four individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents across the country.

In Kapilvastu’s Yashodhara Rural Municipality-7, two motorcycles—one bearing the license plate Lu.55 Pa 3734 and the other UP 55 AK 3575—collided on Tuesday evening. Sabdan Husen Chaudhary, 31, from Yashodhara-8, succumbed to injuries during treatment at Taulihawa District Hospital. The other motorcyclist involved in the accident is also receiving treatment at the same hospital.

In Budhiganga Rural Municipality-5, Morang, a 25-year-old cyclist, Jaleshwar Sardar, lost control of his bicycle and suffered fatal injuries in a crash near the municipal building. He died during treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital, Gangachowk, on Tuesday night.

A pedestrian, 64-year-old Sita Guragain, from Sundarharaicha Municipality-10, Morang, was fatally struck by motorcycle (Pr.1-02-046 Pa 3212) on Tuesday night in Bagjhoda. She succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Nobel Hospital, Biratnagar. The police have detained the motorcyclist.

In Shivasatakshi Municipality-1, Jhapa, a Bolero pickup (Pr.1-01-001 Cha 8221) collided with a motorcycle (Me.6 Pa 2514) on Wednesday morning. Lalit Bahadur Thapa, 40, of Shivasatakshi-8, sustained critical injuries and passed away during treatment at B&C Hospital, Birtamod. The Bolero driver has been taken into custody by the police.

Police is conducting further investigations into these incidents.
