31 injured in Kanchanpur bus accident

Kanchanpur, November 23 — A passenger bus has met with an accident at Kaluwapur in Shuklaphanta Municipality-11, Kanchanpur, along the East-West Highway, leaving 31 people injured.

The bus, with registration number Na 4 Kha 7755, was traveling from Dhangadhi to Mahendranagar when the accident occurred.

According to the District Police Office’s Information Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police Umesh Joshi, 31 people on the bus were injured, and two of them are in critical condition.

The injured are receiving treatment at Attariya and Mahakali hospital in Mahendranagar.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
