Kathmandu, October 6 — Newly appointed Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut has assumed office.

Immediately after taking the oath from President Ramchandra Paudel on Sunday, Chief Justice Raut arrived at the Supreme Court to officially take up his position.

He was welcomed by the staff of the Supreme Court upon his arrival.
