Dakshinkali Temple sees increased pilgrimage during Nawaratri (photos)

Kathmandu, October 6 — With the start of Dashain, there is a surge of devotees at religious sites across the country. Among the various religious sites in the Kathmandu Valley, Dakshinkali is renowned as a powerful shrine.

Devotees flock to the temples of Goddess Durga, including Guheshwari, Maitidevi, Dakshhinkali, Kalikasthan, Shobha Bhagwati, Taleju Bhawani, Bijeshwori, Naksal Bhagawati, Bhadrakali, and Indrayani in Kathmandu.

Since the beginning of Navaratri, there has been a daily influx of devotees to the goddess Dakshinkali for worship and offerings.
