Dead body found stuck under Balkhu bridge

Kathmandu: A body has been discovered in the Balkhu River in Kathmandu. Authorities suspect that the individual may have died after being carried away by floodwaters.

The body, identified as 45-year-old Ram Sworup Mahato, currently residing in squatter settlement and originally from Banke, was found lodged under the Balkhu Bridge. The discovery was made on Wednesday morning.

The police are currently investigating the incident.
