House of Representatives Meeting Scheduled to Discuss Budget

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is being held today. The meeting, scheduled for 11 AM, has the agenda to start discussion on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will answer questions raised during the budget discussion.< /p>

The possible agendas include informing that the Finance Bill has not been withdrawn within the deadline, sending the Film Bill to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion, and informing about the additional responsibilities received from the Prime Minister's Office.< /p>

The meeting has possible agendas including the Finance Minister presenting the Appropriation Bill and presenting the Bill on Raising National Debt.< /p>

However, as opposition parties have been continuously obstructing the house demanding that Prime Minister Balen Shah correct his statement regarding the border, it is uncertain whether today's meeting will proceed to the agenda or not.< /p>
