Kathmandu: India is preparing to announce its budget on Tuesday, July 23. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget of 2024, marking her 7th budget presentation for India. According to the Times of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will introduce the budget in the Federal Parliament on Tuesday.

As reported by the Economic Times, an economic survey will precede the budget announcement today in the Indian Parliament. Prime Minister Modi, now in his third term, is expected to focus on crafting tailored policies through the budget. According to First Post, this will be India's second budget in the current year.

Previously, an interim budget was presented on February 1 due to the constraints of an election year, which prevented the introduction of a full budget.
