KATHMANDU: The Mulpani International Cricket Ground witnessed a spectacle as Nepal A put forth a formidable challenge, setting a target of 182 runs for Canada XI in the decisive clash of the three-day ODI series.
With Canada XI winning the toss and opting to field first, Nepal A faced a stern test against their opponents' bowling attack.
Despite the pressure, the Nepali batsmen displayed resilience, compiling a total of 182 runs in 46.6 overs.
Ashutosh Ghiraiya led the charge for Nepal A with a spirited knock of 28 runs, ably supported by Arjun Kumar, Basir Ahmed, and Sandeep Jhora, who contributed 27 and 24 runs respectively.
However, Canada XI's bowlers, led by Dillon Heyliger and Harsh Thaker, showcased their skill by claiming two wickets each, thwarting Nepal A's aspirations of posting a higher total.
With both teams locked in a gripping contest, the stage is set for a thrilling finale as Canada XI prepares to chase down the target set by Nepal A.
