Chinese Vice-Minister Yezhou calls on Maoist Centre Chairman

Kathmandu - Vice Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Guo Yezhou, today met with CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's residence in Khumaltar 
They discussed the latest political scenario and matters related to mutual interests, it is said. 
On the occasion, Chairman Dahal said that the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) have decided to unite the party for country's political stability, development and prosperity, reads a press release issued by Dahal's Secretariat. 
Chairman Dahal stressed that the unity started with an objective of heading on a long journey of socialism by making economic development would build a basis of socialism. 
Similarly, Vice-Minister Yezhou congratulated Dahal for the unification between the two parties and said that this unity could do a lot for the political stability and development. 
Expressing belief that the past agreements signed with Chinese government would be transformed into practice, he pledged full supports from China to the unified party. 
He said that the supports providing by Chinese government for Nepal's stability, prosperity and development would be continued in days ahead and the area of cooperation would also be expanded. 
On the occasion, the Chinese Vice Minister handed over a book ' The Governance of China-2' written by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
