CPN (Maoist Center) unveils candidate lineup for upcoming National Assembly elections

KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML has finalized its candidate selection for the upcoming National Assembly election, with 19 seats set to become vacant in March. The election is scheduled for January 25.

Devendra Poudel, the party's secretary, announced the chosen candidates for various provinces. Chamcha Devi Karki is selected as the female cluster candidate in Koshi Province, while Shree Krishna Adhikari will represent the disabled cluster in Bagmati Province.

In Gandaki Province, Man Rupa Sharma is nominated for the female cluster, and Jakku Subedi is chosen for the other cluster in Lumbini Province.

Similarly, Vishnu Biswakarma is selected from the Dalit cluster, and Renu Chand is chosen for the female cluster in Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, respectively.
