Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal Departs for Four-Day China Visit

Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is scheduled to depart for Beijing today for a four-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his stay in China, Minister Khanal will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Wang on further strengthening Nepal-China relations and enhancing mutual cooperation. He will also hold separate meetings with high-ranking Chinese officials.

Minister Khanal is scheduled to participate in an investment conference organized by the Nepali Embassy in Beijing with the objective of bringing foreign investment into the country, and he will also hold discussions with Chinese entrepreneurs and businessmen.

The embassy will organize a reception in honor of Foreign Minister Khanal. He will interact with the Nepali community during the ceremony. Minister Khanal is scheduled to return home on Asar 3.
