Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar arrives in Nepal
KATHMANDU: Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar arrived in Kathmandu to attend the seventh meeting of the Nepal-India Foreign Minister-level Joint Commission.
Minister of Foreign Affairs NP Saud welcomed his Indian counterpart at Tribhuvan International Airport this morning.
Minister Jaishankar is slated for courtesy meetings with President Ram Chandra Paudel, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli later today.
Besides, the two countries are scheduled to ink various agreements on cross border transmission lines.
