Snowfall in upper Solukhumbu brings cheers to locals

Salleri (Solukhumbu) - Snowfall has occurred at upper belt of Solukhumbu. There was a massive snowfall at Khumbu region of the district including Nele, Kangel, Sotang, Kaku and Basa. 
Lakhbir Tamang from Lukla shared that snowfall has taken place in Chanrikharka, Naamche – the lap of world's highest peak Sagarmatha – since Tuesday. 
"Snowfall has taken place since Tuesday through Wednesday", he added. 
Local life has been toughened after brief shower with snowfall. However, the locals are cheerful. 
Snowfall took place in Kangel area this year after a long time. It occurred around four hours from around 1.30 pm Wednesday afternoon, said Rajendra Basnet, a local.
