Government opens lands for allocation

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The Cabinet meeting held at Singhadurbar on Tuesday has opened up lands for allocation.

The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation had previously banned the allocation of lands.

The government backed away from the decision to stop the allocation of land after their decision was severely criticised, claiming that it was the cause of the economic recession.
