Bill related to loan sharking tabled in NA meeting: Meeting adjourned for half an hour

KATHMANDU, July 27: The ‘Bill 2080 to amend the Civil Code and some Nepal Acts’, which was passed by the House of Representatives on July 16 has been tabled in the National Assembly.

The Bill has been tabled by National Assembly Secretary Surendra Aryal. The National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has adjourned the National Assembly meeting for half an hour. The National Assembly is preparing to pass the Bill today itself. The Bill will be implemented as an Act after it is passed by the National Assembly and authenticated by the President.
