Three killed in separate traffic accidents across Nepal
Kathmandu, November 26 — Nepal Police has informed that three people have died in separate traffic accidents in Siraha, Sindhuli, and Morang.
In Siraha, a pedestrian named Balu Yadav, 45, from Baluwa Tol, Barriarpatti Rural Municipality-3, was killed after being hit by a tractor (vehicle number Ja.1 Ta 3602) on the road. The accident occurred on Monday morning, and Yadav, who was severely injured, died during treatment at Provincial Hospital Lahan in Siraha on Monday afternoon.
In Sindhuli, a collision between a car (vehicle number Ba 7 Cha 7554) and a Bolero (vehicle number Ba.Pr 03-001 Ch 1623) occurred on the road in Deujo, Marin Rural Municipality-7. The Bolero overturned and hit a pedestrian, 76-year-old Buddha Lakshmi Shrestha, who was sitting on the roadside. She died on Monday afternoon while undergoing treatment at District Hospital Sindhuli due to serious injuries. Police have detained both the drivers of the car and the Bolero.
In Morang, a motorcycle (vehicle number Pr.1-02-040 P 6025) was hit by a bus (vehicle number NL-01 AD 5511) on the road near the bus stand in Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-1. The motorcycle rider, 20-year-old Tarjan Rai, from Kubida Tol, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-11, died after the accident on Monday evening. He was critically injured and died during treatment at Madan Bhandari Trauma Center in Mangalbare. The bus driver has been taken into police custody.
The police is conducting necessary investigations into the accidents.
