Gold smuggling case: Revenue Investigation Department raids Adukiya's house in Kamalpokhari

KATHMANDU, July 26: The Department of Revenue Investigation has raided the house of the businessman Rakesh Kumar Adukiya in Kamalpokhari in the case of smuggling about 1 quintal of gold from Tribhuwan Airport.

An officer of the Revenue Investigation Department involved in the investigation told Ratopati that the Department raided Adukiya's house on Wednesday after he was suspected to be involved in the case.

The investigation by the Department has revealed that the businessman recently visited Hong Kong, India and Dubai. Adukiya, who is doing business in Nepal, is also involved in share business.
