Robin Tamang's funeral to be held on Sunday

KATHMANDU, July 6: The funeral of the popular singer and actor Robin Tamang will be held on Sunday. His death rites will be performed through Buddhist customs at Swayambhu on Sunday.

Robin has two daughters who live in France. His cremation will be a bit late as his daughters will be late to the funeral, Singer Mukti Shakya of Mukti and Revival told Ratopati. According to Buddhist traditions, his body will be worshipped at his private residence on Saturday.

Tamang was found dead at his residence in Budanilkanth on Tuesday evening. According to the preliminary report of the post-mortem, a problem was observed in his heart. Tamang was the frontman of Robin and the New Revolution. He has also starred in some films.
