Nepal Army constructs tap at Tamfula

Tehrathum,  The Nepal Army has constructed a public tap at Tamfula of Myanglung Municipality-10 and handed it over to the local community. Tamfula village has been facing shortage of water. 
The Nepal Army's Indradal Company constructed the tap as part of its army-people relations promotion drive under which the army carries out works for the public interest, including construction of physical infrastructures.
Company chief, Major Maheshwar Karki said that the Army constructed the tap at Yakumba of Tamfula village for the convenience of the locals. The locals had also contributed voluntary labour for construction of the tap. 
The locals are happy after the construction of the community tap by Nepal Army. "It will not only benefit the locals, even the travellers would be benefitted," said Padam Bahadur Tumbahamphe, a local.
