IN PICS: People leaving the capital for Dashain celebration

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: People living in Kathmandu Valley, where lies the federal capital of the country, have begun traveling to their hometowns with the beginning of Dashain vacation.

According to the traffic police, hundreds of thousands of people leave the valley daily during this period. As many as two million people are expected to leave Kathmandu Valley this Dashain.
