47 human rights violation cases recorded in Bara in 2017

Kalaiya, Forty-seven cases related to human rights violation took place in Bara district in 2017, according to Bara chapter of Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC).
At a review programme of Nepal Human Rights Year Book, INSEC representative Laxmi Shah said that incidents related to human rights violation have decreased in 2017 as compared to 2016.
A total of 10 incidents related to violation, nine rape cases, four related to attempt to rape, four related to polygamy, six related to misbehave occurred in the district in 2017.
Similarly, two incidents related to child health, four related to beating, and six related to illegal arms were recorded during the year, said Shah.
