PM Deuba summons meeting of ruling alliance

KATHMANDU, April 9: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the ruling alliance on Friday.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM PM’s Office Residence at Baluwatar.

The meeting will mainly focus on further strategies to forge an electoral alliance among the members of the ruling coalition.

The meeting is expected to be attended by leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samjabadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha Party.

The ruling alliance has decided to forge an electoral alliance in the upcoming local level elections scheduled for May 10.
