PM Deuba’s India visit canceled
KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s scheduled visit to India has been canceled following the postponement of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
PM Deuba was scheduled to leave for India on Sunday, and participate in the summit in Gujarat on January 10.
The summit was postponed on Thursday due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Apart from PM Deuba, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Mozambique President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa were to participate in the mega event.
