Province Minister’s son arrested on the charge of hit-and-run case

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Police have arrested the son of Dirga Bahadur Sodari, Minister for Physical Development of Sudurpaschim Province.

According to DSP, Ved Prakash Sodari, spokesperson for the district police office, Kailali, Babi Sodari,  23, was arrested on the charge of hit-and-run case.

Earlier on December 17, 2021, a vehicle ( Bagmati 01-025 Cha 6655), which was being driven by accused Babi Sodari had hit Durga Neupane, 95 at Tikapur. Neupane breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Kohalpur-based Medical College in Banke district later on December 26. 

The accused was out of contact after the death of Neupane.
