Prachanda presents political document, Gurung to table statue draft

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has been presenting his political document in the ongoing closed-door session under the party’s Eighth General Convention.
The closed session, which kicked off at 12 PM earlier Monday, is being held at the Kamaladi-based Nepal Academy Hall.
Prachanda’s dossier entitled ‘Nepali Path toward Socialism in 21st Century' will be discussed over by the delegates. Panel-wise deliberations will be held over the chairman’s report and other documents including a draft of party statute.
Standing committee member Dev Gurung is scheduled to table the draft of the party statute following Prachanda’s dossier.
